Summer is officially underway, and we’re gearing up for all the celebrations that July in Nashville brings. From Independence Day festivities to live music and food-centric festivals, this month is jam-packed with events. Here are our top Nashville events happening this July. Enjoy!

July 7 & 14, 2022: NightLight 615 Outdoor Movie Series

Hosted at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park, the July installment of NightLight 615’s outdoor movie series includes showings of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (Thursday, July 7) and Legally Blonde (Thursday, July 14). Screenings begin at sundown, and general admission tickets are $9.99. Food trucks, beer, and wine are also available at the event.

July 7 – 13 & July 28 – August 3, 2022: Living Centered Program

Join Onsite for the Living Centered Program, a six-day emotional wellness workshop designed to help you bring your life back to center by connecting your current and past circumstances with how they affect you today. July 16, 2022: GasLamp Summer Festival

Visit both GasLamp Antiques and GasLamp Too on Saturday, July 16, for some summer fun! In addition to sales and one-of-a-kind antique finds, attendees can enter to win a gift card and sip on fresh lemonade. The event is free to attend and runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

July 16, 2022: Introduction to Gelli Plate Printing Workshop

In this workshop, students learn to create gorgeous hand-printed papers in various colors and textures using the art of Gelli Plate printing. During class, you can capture the impressions of plants, netting, string, and more as you layer color and pattern in this surprising printmaking technique. The class begins at 10 a.m., and registration is $80.

July 16, 2022: You Pick Flower Garden

Enjoy an evening at By Faith Farm for its annual You Pick Flower fundraiser. Purchase a vase for $25, and then head into the gardens to start building your bouquet. Attendees can also enjoy live music, food, and local artisan vendors. The fun begins at 4 p.m.

July 17, 2022: Music of Phish for Kids + More

Presented by The Rock And Roll Playhouse, this concert for kids and families shares the music of Phish with a new generation of music lovers and little rockers. Children 10 and under can experience the magic of live music, explore their creativity, and enjoy games, stories, and more! The show begins at noon, and tickets are $15.

July 22, 2022: Sound Bath with Ann Sensing

Have you ever wanted to experience a relaxing sound bath? Now is your chance! On Friday, July 22, join The Happy Hour and Ann Sensing as they host a much-anticipated sound bath workshop. The lie-down meditation encourages deep relaxation as participants are bathed in the vibration of various wind and percussion instruments. The class begins at 7 p.m., and registration is $40.

July 23, 2022: 43rd Annual l’Eté du Vin presents Bubbles & Burgundy

Nashville Wine Auction celebrates the 43rd annual l’Eté du Vin with Bubbles & Burgundy on Saturday, July 23! Guests can enjoy a silent auction as they sample wines from Guests of Honor, including Champagne Gardet, Domaine Christian Clerget, and Domain Alain & Christiane Patriarche. The reception also features wines from Caymus Vineyards, Patel Napa Valley, Williams Selyem, and Kistler Vineyards. The fun begins at 5:30 p.m. at the JW Marriot hotel, and tickets are $500 each.

July 23, 2022: 21st Annual Music City Brewer’s Festival

The Music City Brewer’s Festival returns to Walk of Fame Park on Saturday, July 23! As “Nashville’s Original Beer Fest,” the beloved annual event offers samples from over 40 local, regional, national, and imported breweries as well as a variety of seltzers and spirits. Attendees can also enjoy live music from a DJ and games throughout the day. General admission tickets are $49, and proceeds from the event benefit the Nashville Humane Association. The fun starts at 5 p.m. (Note: Designated driver tickets are also available.)

July 23, 2022: 22nd Annual Jefferson Street Jazz & Blues Festival

The annual Jefferson Street Jazz & Blues Festival is headed to a new location: Fisk University! The event includes live jazz music from local and national musicians, arts and food, and retail vendors. Musicians include The Manhattans, Mike Phillips, Bobby Rush, and more. Doors open at 4 p.m., and performances start at 5 p.m. General admission tickets begin at $20.

July 23, 2022: Whole Family Health Day

Connectus Health hosts its inaugural Whole Family Health Day on Saturday, July 23, to unveil its new mobile unit — a full-service clinic on wheels! The unit allows Connectus Health professionals to travel to local schools and neighborhoods to offer primary care and routine healthcare services for community members. In addition to a ribbon-cutting ceremony, the event includes tours of the unit, school and sports physicals, access to community resource organizations, obstacle course games, an ice cream truck, and a chance to win Visa gift cards! The fun begins at 9 a.m.

July 26 – August 7, 2022: Hamilton

An award-winning Broadway musical makes its way to the Tennessee Performing Arts Center this summer! Featuring a musical score that blends hip-hop, jazz, and R&B music, Hamilton tells the story of founding father Alexander Hamilton. Tickets begin at $49. Visit to view specific showtimes.

July 29, 2022: Red, White & Zoo

Sip on wine as you stroll through the Nashville Zoo at Red, White & Zoo. The event features unlimited wine samples, live music, animal encounters, food trucks, and a selection of local craft beer and spirits. The event starts at 7:30 p.m., and tickets begin at $75. (Note: Admission prices increase by $10 starting Friday, July 22.)

July 30, 2022: 4th Annual Spirits of Summer: “Exploring America”

An evening of live music and a craft cocktail competition? Count us in! The annual Spirits of Summer event is an immersive experience that includes music paired with creatively crafted cocktails from local mixologists like Baden Mode of Chaatable, Sam Wetterau of Rosemary and Beauty Queen, and more. The fun begins at 6 p.m., and general admission tickets are $125.
